Share any other important details about your design or special requests for the commission. The more information you provide, the better I can bring your vision to life.
If your request aligns with my work, I will provide a detailed quote based on the following factors:
Material costs
Size
Design complexity
Time and labor
Display method
Shipping fees
Once you agree to the final quote, a non-refundable down payment covering the material costs will be required to secure your spot in the production queue. After the deposit is received, I will begin working on your custom piece.
Upon completion, I will send you photos and videos of the finished piece for your approval. If you’re satisfied with the result, you can finalize the remainder of your payment, and I’ll arrange shipping.
*** Please Note*** :
Commissions that ask me to bring to life a specific image tend to be cheaper as it simply requires me to physically recreate something. Commissions that ask me to dream up my own imagery based on a prompt or loose ideas I will consider as an original piece which will impact pricing. I’m less likely to accept inquiries like these unless it happens to align with the direction of my work and practice.
Consider your design in relation to the size of your desired piece. It can be significantly more difficult to render a detailed image with yarn on a small surface area.
I am not a professional framer, but I build custom wood mounts to stretch my pieces and frames for personal display. Please note that shipping stretched and framed pieces can be costly. To reduce shipping costs, I recommend having your commissioned piece rolled for delivery and arranging your own mounting and framing locally.
Thank you so much again for your interest and support.
